* Get to know your destination in depth before you arrive. Read reviews to get a feel for the safest, and not so safe, neighborhoods.
* Don’t look the role of a tourst! People who look like they are from out of town are especially vulnerable to crime. Blend in as best you can.
* No matter whether you are just on an overnight jaunt, or a month long journey, let friends and family know your plans.
* Be wary of public Wi-Fi. Don’t let the convience of internet access cloud your judgement. Hackers can steal your private information from that public Wi-Fi. Consider setting up a VPN.
* In addition to locking and dead-bolting your hotel room door, pack a “jammer” (a portable device that slips under the door) as another layer of protection.
* Don’t let your guard down while snapping those perfect pictures for your social media platforms. Be aware of your surroundings and keep an eye on your personal belongings at all times.
* And, of course, if someone near you is acting suspiciously and/or giving you the bejeebies, remove yourself from the area immediately. Always trust your gut instinct.
Practice makes perfect! Have you trained with us before? If so, when you recommend us to a friend, and they register for a class, you can come along again…..for free! It’s a great way to reinforce the techniques learned and impress your friend.
Our business relies on word of mouth reviews (and Google reviews). If you like what we do, please help spread the word to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.
THANK YOU!
We appreciate your support.
